The International Conference on Renewable Energy Technologies took place at the Brown Palace Hotel in Denver, Colorado on March 31, 2005. The event was a joint effort of the Colorado Governor’s Office of Energy Management and Conservation (OEMC), North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), and United States Industry Coalition(USIC), and organized by the Sustainable Profitability Group (SPG) and Civilian Research and Development Foundation (CRDF). It was a unique opportunity for leading energy industry professionals to engage scientists and engineers from Russia,Ukraine, Moldova, Armenia, and Uzbekistan in discussions of commercialization and Research and Development Collaboration. The conference showcased a portfolio of emerging energy technologies in the wind, solar, fuel cell, hydrogen and biomass categories. Each of the participating research teams delivered a multimedia presentation on the theory and current development status of their proprietary innovation, communicating to potential investors the immense environmental as well as commercial benefits of renewable energy sources. The partnerships between the Eurasia research institutions and American business organizations promote a more harmonious international relationship through cooperation in science and technology. Distinguished individuals in the field of renewable energy technology spoke about its present and future in both the domestic and international setting. The featured speakers were Dr. David Dell, Mr. Rick Grice, Dr. Victor E. Alessi, Mr. Rick Gillan and Dr. Deborah A. Palmieri. The technical presentations were categorized by their respective energy sources. |
